Deputy Defence Minister Met with Delegation of Romania Deputy Minister of Defence of Georgia Davit Ebralidze met with the members of the Romanian delegation in the framework of Georgia Defence and Security Conference. The delegation is led by State Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence of Romania, Stefan Alexandry Tinca. Representative of the Romanian Defence Ministry responsible for bilateral relations and Defence Attaché of Romania to Georgia LTC Sandu Valerică Piroşcă also attended the meeting. The sides discussed the prospects of deepening bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Romania. The Romanian side offered support in implementation of Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) and Georgia’s NATO integration aspirations. Georgian and Romanian Defence officials talked about the expectation of the upcoming NATO Warsaw Summit. Special focus was made on regional security issues as well.
