Shota Gvineria’s Meeting with Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland On the sidelines of Georgia Defence and Security Conference (GDSC) Defence Minister’s Adviser on International Relations Shota Gvineria met with Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Marek Ziółkowski. The sides discussed the current developments in Georgia, namely the consequences of the Russian occupation and murder of the Georgian citizen on the occupied territory of Georgia. Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland talked about the importance of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia, where Poland has representatives and noted that the mandate of the mission should be increased on the occupied territories of Georgia. Special focus was made on Georgia’s integration in NATO and expectations of Georgia at upcoming NATO Warsaw Summit. The Polish side reiterated support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. Meeting with Marek Ziółkowski was held at the Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi. Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia also attended the meeting.
