Meeting with Minister of Defence of Estonia Minister of Defence of Georgia Tinatin Khidasheli and Chief of the General Staff of the GAF Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze met with Minister of Defence of Estonia Hannes Hanso. The issues of bilateral defence cooperation were highlighted during the meeting that was held in the framework of Georgia Defence and Security Conference (GDSC). Chief of the GS outlined that a business meeting was held with their strategic partners from Estonia and outlined the joint military exercises and cooperation in the field of reserve discussed with the Estonian side. “We have set out the plans of future cooperation. We have offered our Estonian partners to use our training centers. We will also share their experience of preparing reserve forces and gaining support of the society in this respect” said Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze. The Estonian side reaffirmed its support of Georgia`s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and focused on the significance of bilateral cooperation especially in terms of cyber security. The Georgian side expressed gratitude to the Estonian side once again for their support. Ambassador of Estonia to Georgia Mr. Priit Turk, Defence Attaché LTC Kuldar Kesküla and other officials attended the meeting.
