Deputy Minister of Defence of Georgia Ana Dolidze continues bilateral meetings in the frames of Defence and Security Forum. Ana Dolidze met with Deputy Minister of Defence of Latvia to discuss bilateral cooperation issues.  The sides underlined Georgia`s NATO membership aspirations. Latvian Deputy Minister emphasized Latvia`s support in the  implementation of Substantial NATO-Georgia Package.

Today, Deputy Defence Minsiter held a bilateral meeting with the Ambasaador of Canada to Georgia John Holmes and discussed future military cooperation with Canada.

Follwoing the bilateral meetings Ana Dolidze summed up the discussed topics: “the Conference and bilateral meetings indicate that Georgia is a globalized country which has active connections with other different states. We are just trying to develop military cooperation with Canada, and our partnership with Latvia counts a lot of years, especially in the field of education, which we want to further develop in the frames of NATO cooperation. We have had discussions with the representatives of both countries on several training courses and the experience accumulated by these countries."

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of GAF Omar Begoidze attended the bilateral meetings.
